For accuracy, a 3D tank and site model was view matched into the photograph. The model was rendered in three colors to designating the tank, unaffected ground, and the new cut slopes.

 

The photosimulation was used to present the proposed water tank design to the client and the public for a discussion regarding the visual impacts of the facility.

The abandoned above ground tank was removed, the existing access road was extended up the hill, and the new tank was moved towards the center of the hill and partially buried.
