POITRA Visual provides visual simulation for rail projects in any phase from conceptual through final design. We are experienced in transportation projects including light and heavy rail and the issues associated with design, agency coordination, and community and system integration.

DESCRIPTION:

POITRA Visual's rail transportation experience, 3d modeling skills and photosimulation skills were combined to create this three dimensional representation of a proposed Rail-served Frac Drill Staging Facility: the Pecos Transmodal Railyard. The site has its own frac sand distribution facility, frac drill staging yards, transload yard, water treatment plant and is served by the Union Pacific Railroad. The Pecos Transmodal Railyard will support oil extraction operations in Texas. POITRA's collection of stock 3D transportation models were used together with custom built sand silos, conveyors and buildings to create the facility model. Aerial photography served to create the ground plane upon which the 3d models were situated. This allowed for the rendering of multiple views which present the Rail facility from varoius locations and angles. Final images were arranged incorporated into display board graphics for electronic distribution and sales presentations. The 3d photo simulations will also promote the site as construction signs.
